New DD family members – part 1.
BySince I’ve been so bad about updating my blog I’ve missed introducing some of my most recent girls. May previous updates mentioned I was waiting for Neris and Airy, thankfully I was able to adopt both of them.
I first learned about Airy from the Volks USA lottery but I knew that would take a few months before she would come to me but I had not won Neris through the US store. Thankfully I was able to get Neris-chan through the International lottery thanks to multiple entries. (Shhhh, don’t tell Volks!!!!). Since this was the International lottery I would get Neris first and she arrived on May 25, 2011:
I was really surprised at how beautiful she is ‘in person’. Her face sculpt and faceup are very nice and she has a very gentle look to her. Her default outfit was a little complicated to get on with all the layers but it looks fantastic. Even though her dark red skirt looks like a stain problem it never really touches her skin thanks to the slip “thing” under it.
A few months later on July 26, 2011 Neris finally got to welcome her sister Airy to our family:
Airy is known for her really cute kitty smile and it’s really something to see. She has such a wonderful happy feel to her, I’m so glad I was able to make sure I got both sisters. You can see how close they are in this picture of my girls at Sakura’s recent birthday party:
I still currently have their original eyes in but I have seen a number of people who change them and I do love the look they have. I’m currently looking for a number of wigs and eyes for my girls to help them find their true self, as silly as that sounds. haha
At this time I now had 6 Dollfie Dream girls and was just about as happy as I thought I could be. Little did I know there was still more in my future. I’ll get to that in part 2 post coming soon.
