New DD family members – part 1.
Posted by: | CommentsSince I’ve been so bad about updating my blog I’ve missed introducing some of my most recent girls. May previous updates mentioned I was waiting for Neris and Airy, thankfully I was able to adopt both of them.
I first learned about Airy from the Volks USA lottery but I knew that would take a few months before she would come to me but I had not won Neris through the US store. Thankfully I was able to get Neris-chan through the International lottery thanks to multiple entries. (Shhhh, don’t tell Volks!!!!). Since this was the International lottery I would get Neris first and she arrived on May 25, 2011:

Posted by: | CommentsAfter not getting Neris in the Volks USA lottery I was getting worried that I might end up with only Airy and she wouldn’t have her sister Neris with her. I’m happy to say that this morning I woke up and discovered that I did get Neris in the international lottery!!!!!
I feel so much better now knowing I got both of them. It was very stressful only being sure about Airy at first as they are a pair, sisters in fact. I wouldn’t have minded if I had tried for just 2 dolls and only got one of them (OK, I wouldn’t have minded “as much”) but since it was important to me that I get both I was a bit stressed. hehe I guess I would have felt the same if I had tried for Mio and Yui, the K-On! girls, when they were released.
Dollfie Dream Airy – confirmed
Posted by: | CommentsYesterday I had both good and bad news. The good news was that I got confirmation from Volks USA that I have won the lotto to get the new Dollfie Dream Airy:
I am very happy about winning Airy. She wasn’t as popular as her sister Neris but I really like her. I especially fell in love with her cute default outfit as well. The hardest part is that it will take a few months for her to arrive, I believe she’s not getting shipped till July
The bad news I got was that I did not win Neris in the Volks USA lottery. I haven’t given up yet. There are some people who entered the lottery for her both in the Volks USA site as well as from Kerbey Lane, wanting to make sure they got Neris, only to find they won twice. I’m hoping I may be able to buy one of those extras!
There is also another option at Volks International lottery site starting on 5/13/2011. I shall try hard to make sure Airy is not without her sister when she comes to live with me.

I also have another HUGE surprise that I’ll be posting about in a few days but I want to keep quiet about it right now. hehe It wasn’t something I had planned at all but some very fortunate circumstances led to something I’m really happy about. Anyway, this post is about Airy and Neris…

Posted by: | CommentsWith Dolpa 25 just under a week away I’m happy to say that I’ve managed to get my finances in line so try to get both Airy and Neris. I glad that part of the puzzle is done with, for a while I didn’t think I would have it in time.
I’m very happy as well since recently some photos of both Airy and Neris in casual clothes and alternate wigs have been showing up and they got me real excited about the possible looks they could have. First of is Airy:
