I’m a little late updating this on the blog but I got the Aria uniform in the other day for Yukino and I’m really happy with it. It’s a much better quality than I expected. Not sure why I wasn’t expecting much considering it cost about $120 total.
The outfit is made by ‘Cherry Milk’, which I believe is related to ‘Azone’. I was a little worried it wouldn’t fit well on a Dollfie Dream but it’s nearly perfect.
It’s a snug fit which is just how the Aria uniform should be but it’s not too tight. I don’t think it would ever fit over the hips on a Dollfie Dream Dynamite doll. Yukino is a M bust and she has some ‘breathing room’ so I’m tempted to have Sakura try it as she’s an L bust. Read More→
New adoption – Daughter Yukino has arrived.

On Friday (1/28/2011) I had a special package arrive. DD Yukino showed up at my house.
My work schedule has me off on Fridays and as usual the UPS delivery wasn’t till about 4pm. Thankfully the package wasn’t damage at all during Yukino’s delivery as it was when I got Sakura.
As my project is to make my own custom DD version of Alicia Florence from Aria the Animation I decided to go with Yukino. I thought her face sculpt was as close as I would get to Alicia-san. Yukino’s face seems to show a very gentle personality, though I would have liked a bit more of a smile on her. Thankfully she doesn’t have the little scowl that Dollfie Dream Aoi has. 
I also ordered some paints, brushes, and clear coats in case I felt the need to try modifying her smile to more closely match Alicia-san but now that I’ve seen her face close up I don’t think I will. She’s really very lovely the way she is.
